Toshiba participates in Singapore International Water Week 2012

Singapore International Water Week 2012 (SIWW 2012) was held in Sands Expo & Convention Centre , Marina Bay Sands from 2nd to 4th July 2012.
Toshiba Asia Pacific Social Infrastructure division showcased water solutions to various international water agency and trade visitors . During the three days exhibition, visitors got to experience and understand Toshiba water business in an interactive way with live demonstrations and product viewing. Toshiba booth received many distinguished guests. They are Mr. Yoshiro Mori (Japan’s ex-prime minister); Mr. Tomiyasu Nakamura (Executive Vice President of Japan External Trade Organization (Jetro); Mr. Nobuya Suzuki (Deputy Mayor, City of Yokohama) and Mr. Takayuki Ogishima (Director General of Environmental planning Bureau, City of Yokohama)

Within the Toshiba booth, there were displays of  Cyclone-type Solid-Liquid Separation Unit, UV Disinfection System, 3Flow Meter & Density Meter  for visitors to get an up-close experience on water solution technology. Panels were also displayed to share information on Toshiba Smart Community Solutions while videos of Toshiba water business and the opening ceremony of  Aqua Research centre were also featured.

The highlight of the event was the live demonstration of the functional powder where, Dr Kono shows the effectiveness of the powder to purify waste treated water.
Toshiba is proud to be the winner of the ‘Best Booth Design’ in SIWW 2012., organised by the Ministry of Environment and water business and Singapore water agency PUB. The award was presented by  Maurice Neo, Managing Director, Singapore International Water Week at Toshiba booth on 3rd July 2012.
