On Jul 3rd, 2010, Toshiba Storage Device (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called TSDT) launched their 7th reforestation project at Tak-Sin Maharat National Park, Tak province. This project is a part of Toshiba Group 1.5 million tree-planting project in which Toshiba Group aims at growing a 1.5-million Tree forest by 2025, the 150th year anniversary of Toshiba Corporation.

It was a very good opportunity for TSDT to respond to His Majesty the King Bhumipol and Her Majesty the Queen Sirikit”s initiative on the reforestation to rehabilitate natural resources, and to promote the environmental awareness and social contribution to TSDT employees.

In the project, TSDT invited approximately 700 people of National Park officers, local villagers and primary school students to join us for the project. The participants successfully planted 60,000 trees in an area of 300 Rais with good cooperation from all the participants.
