On March 19, 2010, Toshiba Vietnam Consumer Products Co., Ltd. (TVCP) implemented a tree planting event to raise awareness of global climate change.

40 TVCP employees joined the event and split out into 7 groups. Each group planted 1 tree. Some of the participants cleaned the surrounding environment by collecting garbage during the tree planting event. Besides, TVCP also turned off all factory power supply for 1 hour to participate the Earth Hour 2010.

The participants also understood that planting tree is important not only for global climate change mitigation but also for flood protection.

TVCP will keep encouraging their employees for environmental protection.
