Thai Toshiba Group celebrated its 40th anniversary with an elephant release event on Oct 8, 2009, donating 1 million bahts to Thailand Elephant Reintroduction Project.

Mr. Nishida, the chairman of the board of Toshiba Corporation, and 12 Thai Toshiba Group top managements including presidents and managing directors proudly participated this event to practice environment protection and to maintain biodiversity.

Thai Toshiba Group has been continuously promoting environmental activities in Thailand, in fact, this is the 2nd elephant release event. In the previous event, Toshiba Thailand Co.,Ltd (TTC) released 2 elephants with Nationwide dealers on Jan 22, 2009.
