In May 2021, PT. Toshiba Asia Pacific Indonesia (TAPI) donated 25,000 masks to residents in three locations in Cirebon, namely Kanci Village, Waruduwur Village and Kandawaru, ahead of the Lebaran Eid holiday and to mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Fumihiro Okada, President Director of PT. Toshiba Asia Pacific Indonesia highlighted, “As part of Toshiba’s business operations in Indonesia, we have an unwavering drive to become a better world. and echo the spirit of Gotong Royong also known as mutual assistance. We believe in active volunteerism where people come together to help one another, forging bonds and strong ties within the community.”
