Jun 25, 2010, Toshiba Information Equipment (Philippines), Inc. (hereinafter called TIP) implemented Greening the Future project sponsoring the environment promotion and competition program in Binan district. Approximately 350 participants from 26 Binan district schools, top management representatives and Toshiba staff joined together for the activity.

In the activity, the students and teachers developed awareness of “Mottainai” (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Respect to natural resources) concept for environmental management and protection and prepared themselves for sustaining a greener future.

TIP recognizes school which perform exemplary environmental programs and activities as well as schools which has been adapting/applying what they learned from TIP in the previous session last year.
