The first Singapore Toshiba Group Tree-planting day was held on the 15th May 2009 at Singapore Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves. This event was organized as part of Toshiba CSR efforts to show our commitment to protecting the environment and our contribution to offset carbon emission. A total of 82 participants, including Mr Wong Tuan Wah, CEO of National Parks Board and Mr Suzuki, Corporate Representative Asia & Oceania of Toshiba Corporation and Managing Director of Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd with the management and staff of seven Toshiba group companies took part in the first Tree Planting event. A total of 20 trees were planted within the wetland nature reserves.
