On 9 May 2017, Toshiba Carrier (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TCTC) hosted Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on its premises at Bangkadi Industrial Park in Pathum Thani, Thailand. Her Royal Highness, who was there to inspect Toshiba’s and Carrier’s air-conditioner production line, was welcomed by Mr. Tsuru Hidenari, President of TCTC and TCTC’s management.
Following Mr. Tsuru’s welcome address, President of Toshiba Carrier Corporation Japan Mr. Kondo Hirokazu, made a donation of 24 Toshiba air-conditioners in support of education at Kampong Speu Institute of Technology Cambodia.
At the event, Her Royal Highness was also given a presentation on projects under the Royal Patronage. These included presentations on the Little Science Home project by kindergarten students and on air-conditioner manufacturing process by Chitralada Vocational School’s students.
TCTC, established in April 1999, is part of Toshiba Carrier Corporation Japan which has 19 companies within the group, seven in Japan and 12 overseas. TCTC has a broad range of air-conditioning products comprising Residential, Light Commercial and VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) types distributed globally.
