Ho Chi Minh – Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. today announced more businesses at the event “Innovation Seminar and Grand Opening Ceremony of Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Ho Chi Minh Representative Office”, at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, 88 Dong Khoi Str., Dist. 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

• Toshiba Consumer Products Co. Ltd was the very first Toshiba factory to be built in Vietnam in 1996. This is the best provider of wide-ranged products of color TV and components in modern digital technologies.
• Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd – Computer System Division is the regional headquarters for South and Southeast Asia. Its main business is to supply notebooks and portable, wireless accessories for customers under the Toshiba brand name.

• Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Hanoi Representative Office Semiconductor Division work on high value-ended, high performance memories and system LSIs, and reinforcing Toshiba’s position as the world’s No.1 in discrete memories and system LSIs and semiconductor market.

• Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Hanoi Representative Office (Power Generation/Transmission & Distribution) focuses on enhancing thermal power generation efficiency, promoting utilization of renewable energy, and boosting the safety and efficiency of nuclear power generation.
• Toshiba Elevator and Building Systems Corporation has the total solutions for buildings and other facilities with a steady stream of high-value products.
• Toshiba Medical System Asia Pte Ltd integrates all aspects of Toshiba’s healthcare business from development and design to manufacturing, sales and marketing and after-sales services to maximize patient comfort and quality of life.

• Toshiba Vietnam Home Appliances Co. Ltd was established in 2001 in Vietnam and has been serving the daily needs of Vietnamese consumers, adding lot of utilities and quality to consumers with high-value refrigerators, washing machines and other products and services.
• Toshiba Carrier Corporation offers a complete range of Toshiba brand air conditioning products and after sales support service through its main office and factory in Ho Chi Minh City, together with branch office in Hanoi.

• Toshiba Industrial Products Asia Co., Ltd. manufactures motors with output under 100HP including parts with high productivity, less energy consumption and low carbon emission that help to protect global environment. Its manufacturing factory will be constructed in 2009 and the plant will come on line in 2010.
• Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd – Industry Division is in charge of sales, marketing and after service of Toshiba and TMEIC industrial electrical systems and products such as motors, inverters, control, drive systems, and substation for South East Asia including Vietnam.

• Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh Environment Division is established to work on the high-concentration organic water treatment technology in order to assist the fight against global warming in Vietnam.

• Thai Toshiba Lighting Co. Ltd constantly incorporates the latest technology from different fields within the world of light to cater to people’s lighting needs.
