- Highlights
Toshiba Asia Pacific (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TATC) successfully concluded its participation in ASIA Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) 2026, held from 1–3 July 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok. During the three-day event, Toshiba engaged with utilities, industrial companies, developers, and energy stakeholders from across the region, showcasing how an integrated power infrastructure approach can support both energy reliability and decarbonization goals.
At Booth X11, Toshiba presented a comprehensive portfolio of solutions spanning carbon capture management, transmission and distribution, energy storage, and digital optimization. The showcase demonstrated how these technologies work together to address the evolving needs of modern energy systems, helping operators improve performance while advancing sustainability objectives.
Key highlights included Toshiba’s carbon capture solutions, which support the reduction of CO₂ emissions from existing thermal power assets while maintaining energy security. Visitors also explored Toshiba’s transmission and distribution technologies, including protection relays, transmission line automation, and generator step-up transformer solutions designed to strengthen grid reliability and enable more effective system monitoring and control.
The company’s SCiB™ lithium-ion battery technology attracted strong interest for its ability to enhance grid flexibility, support renewable energy integration, and improve power quality. In addition, Toshiba demonstrated EtaPRO™, its digital optimization platform that leverages real-time data and predictive analytics to improve asset reliability, operational efficiency, and decision-making across power generation and grid systems.
Throughout the event, the team had productive discussions with customers, partners, and industry leaders on the challenges and opportunities shaping Asia’s energy transition. Conversations centered on practical pathways to decarbonization, grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and the role of digital technologies in enhancing operational resilience. These exchanges reinforced the growing demand for solutions that balance sustainability ambitions with reliable and affordable energy delivery.
Toshiba would like to thank all visitors, partners, and stakeholders who visited our booth and contributed to insightful discussions during ASEW 2026. The company remains committed to supporting Asia Pacific’s evolving energy landscape through innovative technologies and collaborative partnerships that enable more efficient, resilient, and sustainable power systems for the future!
