Highlights from ATxSG 2024 – Toshiba’s Quantum Security Solutions

Toshiba participated in Asia Tech x Singapore 2024 (ATxSG 2024) alongside our esteemed Southeast Asia partner, SpeQtral, to showcase the latest advancements in Quantum Security Solutions. Held at the Singapore EXPO, the flagship tech summit served as a hub of innovation, bringing together leaders from various sectors to explore the transformative potential of quantum technologies.

One of the key highlights of the summit was the presentation “Shaping Tomorrow: Leading the Charge in Quantum Security Solutions,” held as part of TechXLR8’s Quantum Technology Summit. This session featured insights from Mr. Kentaro Taira, Chief Specialist of Toshiba Digital Solutions’ QKD Business Promotion Department, and Mr. Robert Bedington, Co-founder and CTO of SpeQtral. Their sharing shed light on the advancements in quantum computing and its implication for digital security, highlighting cutting-edge developments in Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and opportunities for businesses in Singapore to trial and learn this new technology.

TechXLR8 Asia provided a dynamic platform for leaders in AI, Cybersecurity, IoT, Cloud, Data, and Quantum Technology to converge and exchange ideas. The summit fostered discussions on leveraging disruptive technologies to drive innovation across various industries in the Asia-Pacific region.
