December marks Toshiba’s annual “Sustainability Month,” aligning with the United Nations International Volunteer Day—a time dedicated to reinforcing our commitment to environmental conservation and community support.
On December 11, 2024, five Toshiba group companies in Singapore—Toshiba Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (TAPL), Toshiba Electronics Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd (TEA), Toshiba TEC Singapore Pte Ltd (TSE), Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (Singapore) Pte Ltd (TGCS), and TMEIC Asia Pte Ltd (TMAS)—joined forces for a meaningful beach clean-up initiative at Pasir Ris Park.
In collaboration with Georges @ the Cove’s “Love Our Coast” program, 50 dedicated employees, led by senior management including Mr. Kazutoshi Hashimoto, Managing Director of TAPL & TEA, worked together to clear 53kg of trash, helping to restore and preserve this well-loved coastal area for the community.
Beyond environmental efforts, Toshiba extended its support to G2C Children’s Society Singapore, successfully raising more than SGD 6,500 — surpassing the initial target of SGD 5,000. These funds will provide vital assistance to children, youth, and families in need, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility.
Toshiba’s initiatives reflect our core values of sustainability and community engagement. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all employees who contributed, whether by actively participating in the clean-up or supporting the fundraising campaign. Your dedication has transformed our vision into action, inspiring a cleaner, greener, and more compassionate future.
Together, we continue to uphold our corporate philosophy — Committed to People, Committed to the Future.
