Toshiba Electronics Asia (Singapore) recently participated in the Avnet Green Days: e-Mobility 2023 showcase in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighting our commitment to advancing sustainable e-mobility solutions.
Vietnam is emerging as a pivotal player in the global shift to electric mobility, with projections indicating one million electric vehicles on its roads by 2028 and an impressive 3.5 million by 2040. This underscores the region’s dedication to sustainable transportation solutions, aligning with global environmental goals.
At the showcase, Toshiba showcased third-generation SiC MOSFETs and the TWxxNxxxC series products. These innovations, designed to reduce ON-resistance per unit area (RDS(ON)A) by almost half, significantly cut switching losses. The applications span industrial equipment, EV charging stations, and photovoltaic inverters, promising higher efficiency across the e-mobility infrastructure.
Toshiba’s participation exemplifies our dedication to driving positive change towards a greener, more sustainable future. By enhancing the efficiency of critical components in e-mobility, we contribute to the development of cleaner and environmentally friendly transportation systems.
Our involvement in the Avnet Green Days: e-Mobility 2023 showcase signifies Toshiba’s commitment to innovation aligning with the sustainability goals of the region. We take pride in supporting the evolution of e-Mobility, paving the way for a cleaner, greener tomorrow.
