บันทึกความเข้าใจ (MoU) ฉบับนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ (CO₂) โดยการผสานรวมระบบหมุนเวียนก๊าซไอเสีย หรือ Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) ของ GE Vernova เข้ากับเทคโนโลยีการดักจับคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ของ Toshiba ในโรงไฟฟ้าที่ใช้ก๊าซธรรมชาติเป็นเชื้อเพลิงในประเทศญี่ปุ่นและภูมิภาคอื่น ๆ ของเอเชีย บันทึกความเข้าใจฉบับนี้เสริมความแข็งแกร่งให้แก่ความร่วมมือเชิงกลยุทธ์ที่มีมายาวนานกว่า 40 ปีระหว่างทั้งสองบริษัท ความริเริ่มนี้เกี่ยวข้องกับคณะทำงานเฉพาะกิจที่จัดตั้งขึ้นเมื่อเดือนมิถุนายนที่ผ่านมา โดยกระทรวงเศรษฐกิจ การค้าและอุตสาหกรรม (METI) ของญี่ปุ่น และ GE Vernova คาวาซากิ, ประเทศญี่ปุ่น — บริษัท Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation (Toshiba) และ GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV) ได้ลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MoU) เพื่อร่วมกันพัฒนาโซลูชัน Gas Turbine Combined Cycle (GTCC) CCS หรือโรงไฟฟ้ากังหันก๊าซแบบวงจรรวม ที่ติดตั้งระบบดักจับและกักเก็บคาร์บอนแบบบูรณาการ เพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์จากโรงไฟฟ้า โซลูชันดังกล่าวจะผสานรวมระบบ Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) ของ GE Vernova เข้ากับโซลูชันการดักจับคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ของ Toshiba ซึ่งใช้ตัวทำละลายที่เป็นกรรมสิทธิ์เฉพาะของ Toshiba ความร่วมมือนี้เกี่ยวข้องกับ คณะทำงานเฉพาะกิจ ที่เพิ่งจัดตั้งขึ้นระหว่างกระทรวงเศรษฐกิจ การค้าและอุตสาหกรรม (METI) ของญี่ปุ่น และ GE […]

— มุ่งส่งเสริมโมเดลธุรกิจการผลิตที่ยั่งยืน — คาวาซากิ และโตเกียว, ประเทศญี่ปุ่น — โตชิบา คอร์ปอเรชั่น และบริษัทเนเจอร์นิกซ์ สตาร์ตอัปเทคโนโลยีแบตเตอรี่ เริ่มทำการทดสอบการสมัครสมาชิกแบตเตอรี่สำหรับผู้ขับขี่รถมอเตอร์ไซค์รับจ้างไฟฟ้าใน กรุงเทพฯ ประเทศไทย เพื่อไปสู่อีกระดับ ด้วยการขยายขนาดและเปลี่ยนโมเดลธุรกิจ เป็นการสมัครสมาชิกแบบเสียค่าใช้จ่าย โดยทั้ง 2 บริษัทได้ผนึกกำลังในการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งนี้ ซึ่งได้เริ่มมีการผลิตแบตเตอรี่แพ็คและส่วนประกอบที่เกี่ยวข้องแล้ว โดยจะเริ่มดำเนินการระยะถัดไป ตั้งแต่เดือนธันวาคม 2568 ถึงเดือนมีนาคม 2569 ทั้งนี้ ตั้งแต่เดือนกันยายน 2567 ถึงมีนาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา ทั้ง 2 บริษัทได้ดำเนินการทดสอบบริการในระยะแรกโดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่าย ซึ่งช่วยให้ผู้ขับขี่รถมอเตอร์ไซค์รับจ้างไฟฟ้าสามารถเปลี่ยนแบตเตอรี่ได้อย่างรวดเร็วที่สถานีชาร์จและกลับไปรับผู้โดยสารได้ทันที*1 ในการทดลองนี้ โตชิบาได้จัดหาแบตเตอรี่ลิเทียมไอออน SCiB™ ในขณะที่ เนเจอร์นิกซ์ได้พัฒนาแบตเตอรี่แพ็ค และเครื่องชาร์จ พร้อมปรับแต่งรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ไฟฟ้า โดยมีเซนเซอร์ที่ฝังอยู่ในรถมอเตอร์ไซค์เป็นตัวจัดเก็บข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับอุณหภูมิรอบข้าง สภาพแวดล้อม และพฤติกรรมของผู้ขับขี่ พร้อมกับการสำรวจผู้ขับขี่ เพื่อเป็นการยืนยันถึงประสิทธิภาพที่ยาวนานและเชื่อถือได้ของแบตเตอรี่ SCiB™ แม้ใช้งานในอากาศที่ร้อนระอุของกรุงเทพฯ และยังเป็นการยืนยันถึงเทคโนโลยีหลักของเนเจอร์นิกซ์ อีกด้วย สำหรับการบริการแบบชำระเงินจะมีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้น โดยครอบคลุมพื้นที่กรุงเทพฯ และปริมณฑล สามารถรองรับรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ไฟฟ้าได้สูงสุดถึง 100 คัน […]
