SCiBTM is utilized as an emergency battery for supplying electric power to permit evacuation operation if the power supply is cut off, which ensures that trains can safely carry passengers to the nearest station in the event of a total power loss.

By installing the emergency battery on the rolling stock, transfer of passengers to the nearest station is possible even during power failures.
Convenience
No need to connect outside power to the train when the train comes out from the inspection area to the main line.
